WHO IS MR. P?
Meet Mr. P (short for Prouty) - a man known and loved by many, whose selfless nature and commitment to the local Ellijay community are still remembered fondly by our staff. In 1979, Mr. P opened the doors of Mr. P's Takeout Food, laying the foundation for one of Ellijay GA's most successful restaurants, which continues to thrive in our ever-changing community.
Now, over 50 years later, Mr. P's is renowned for our high-quality southern food options, with a particular highlight being our homemade buttermilk biscuits, crafted from scratch every morning. Though Mr. P is no longer with us, his spirit lives on through his daughter, Kelly Bramlett, who has lovingly owned and operated Mr. P's for the past 15 years.
The original values that Mr. P lived by 50 years ago, including kindness, and selflessness still remain at the core of our business today. Stop by and experience our one-of-a-kind hometown dining experience. just like Mr. Ps envisioned so many years ago.
